Yes a person who fucks you over takes away a piece of your humanity (yes, I will use the word). You learn from the bad; but, I firmly believe you can heal. Good people in your life can heal the wounds on your soul. You will always have the scars (experience, wisdom). But the good experiences can counter bad. Kindness can counter the evil. Wounds heal, scars fade.

Cups can be emptied, but they can also be filled.

If you can never heal from the bad experiences in your life, then you are just a cup with a hole in the bottom.

there are two options no matter how many blows you’ll take:

1. loose enough humanity to became a medical study case

2. understand that when it comes to people, always have low expectation. therefore every single gesture they make that meet your expectation is a bonus. this way you’ll always have nice surprises but never bad surprises.

It is your choice… but if you want to choose the second option, do it fast, the first option is coming by itself
